Larry Dale, Ph.D., an Environmental Economist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, has more than 25 years of experience on water resource, energy, and environmental projects. He has provided business and litigation consulting for environmental groups, regulatory agencies, and user groups such as water districts. His previous work on international development focused on water conservation programs in Beijing, China, and on the development of gold/copper mines in Papua New Guinea. Recently, he has advised international agencies and foreign governments on water resource property rights, water supply, and energy issues. His publications include a dozen articles in referred journals on the economics of water conservation, mineral exploration, energy standards, and forestland use planning.
